WB2 Mechanical Seal

The WB2 mechanical seal (also known as type 152) is an externally mounted, single-end face mechanical seal with a PTFE bellows structure. It is designed for highly corrosive environments and is widely used in chemical pumps.

• Structural forms: external mounting, single end face, balanced/unbalanced.
• Core elastic element: Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) bellows, which combines elastic compensation, sealing and transmission functions.
• Rotation direction: Any rotation direction, installation does not require consideration of the shaft rotation direction.
• Spring protection: The spring is encased in a PTFE cover, preventing direct contact with corrosive media and extending its lifespan.
• Compensation performance: The bellows has good floating performance and strong radial runout compensation capability, making it suitable for working conditions with slight shaft wobble.
• Installation: External structure, making installation, maintenance, and leak observation very convenient.

4,Typical application scenarios

Designed specifically for highly corrosive media, it is the standard matching seal for IHF, FSB, UHB-ZK series fluoroplastic pumps, fluoropolymer-lined pumps, acid-resistant pumps, alkali-resistant pumps, plastic pumps, and ceramic pumps.
• Applicable media: sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, acetic acid, caustic soda, salt solutions, etc.
• Not applicable to: high temperature, high pressure, high speed, high solids content (>2%) or highly abrasive conditions.
